WRITING FROM THE HEART

What do I want to say?

That God IS, the great I AM, in a sense unknowable and yet made known in Christ.

That man can be remade into His image as he recognises the King who is his Saviour, as did the thief on the cross, guilty of murder. But there were two thieves. The one had no fear of God. Which one are we?

That the present church is not a reflection of God’s image.

Why do I want to say it?

I would like my writing to set forth the wonder of a Creator, Redeemer God in a secular world.

Also:
Honour God
Make Truth beautiful
Chronicle my pilgrimage
Apologise to secular man for self-righteousness and hypocrisy
Rattle the cages of complacent ‘believers’
Validate my radical conclusions

I want to draw blood with the arrows of my questions.
The complacent will not ask.

Are you asking questions?
What questions are you asking?
Is there anybody out there who is asking the same questions?

If people are not concerned about the issues I am concerned about how can they be interested in my answers?

I want my words to be 'careless words, oak-cleaving thunderbolts'.

God’s first conversation with man started with a question, but a question called out of the agony of the abandonment of His created companion.
Where are you?

God's final word to us is the question:
What think ye of Christ?

His question to His disciples was:
Whom do men say that I am?

Men are responsible for their actions and have to account for the choices they make.

The final judgement will be the works we do to demonstrate the truth of our answer.
